Mayor Bowser to Declare May 21, 2016 Trans Pride Day

(Washington, DC) -  Mayor Bowser will declare May 21, 2016 Trans Pride Day in Washington, DC.  Transgender people are vital part of the LGBTQ community and our community as a whole.  Transgender people face heightened levels of discrimination based on their gender identity, gender expression and perceived sexual orientation.  
Workshops and panels discussions include:
